Legal
Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information Wheels Up North collects through this platform, and how it is used. It describes the platform's real, current architecture - the wording below is a draft pending final legal approval, not yet the platform's approved Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:
Your name, email address and phone number, when you create an account, place an order or apply to show a vehicle.
Vehicle details you add to My Driveway or a Show Application - make, model, year, colour, registration and description - and any photographs you choose to upload.
Order, ticket and payment records for tickets you purchase. Card payments are processed by Stripe - we do not store your full card details ourselves.
Records of consent you have given us, such as accepting these terms, so we can show what you agreed to and when.
How we use your Driveway vehicle data
Vehicle details and photos you add to My Driveway are used to process Show Car applications for that vehicle.
When you submit a Show Application, we keep our own copy of the vehicle's details and photos as they were at the moment you applied - independent of your live Driveway record. Editing or removing the vehicle from your Driveway afterwards does not change what was submitted with that application.
Vehicles cannot currently be permanently deleted from My Driveway - removing one archives it rather than erasing it, so it can never be pulled out from under an application that already references it.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember an in-progress guest basket. See our Cookie Policy for the current, complete list.
Marketing communications
You can opt in to marketing updates through our sign-up forms and opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the footer of our emails.
Marketing preferences do not affect essential service communications. Order confirmations, refund and cancellation notices, ticket deliveries and Show Application decisions are transactional messages necessary to fulfill your order or application and will always be sent regardless of your marketing settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you generally have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw marketing consent. You may also have the right to ask for it to be deleted, subject to our legal obligations - for example, we must keep financial records of completed orders for a period required by law.
